peeps, my eyes still light up when i think of going to the studio to record. the only downside is i always forget about ear fatigue. ten hours under headphones is not always enjoyable. besides the ringing in the ear and the fact that everything sounds blured that sounded great a minute ago(bad mix), there's the "damn, this song again" factor. no matter how many times a fan rocks a song, they simply cannot compete with the amount of times the artist has heard it. repitition can hinder a mix simply because you get sick of hearing it! even if it's a great tune. like poker, you need to know when to take a break and walk away. let the song breathe and fall on fresh hears instead of deaf. literally! ciao, corley
