Sweet but Deadly is a collective of DJs and musicians that organise clubnights, gigs, and special events for fans of 1950s and 1960s music. We''re talking BOOGALOO, GIRL GROUPS, MOD JAZZ, NORTHERN SOUL, REGGAE, RHYTHM & BLUES, ROCKSTEADY, SKA, TAMLA MOTOWN, BEAT, DOO-WOP, FREAKBEAT, GARAGE-PUNK, PSYCHEDELIA, ROCK'N'ROLL, ROCKABILLY, SUNSHINE POP, SURF & more!!

The group began in 2005 and is ever changing and evolving, but at its helm is music devotee and vinyl obsessive Phil Moore. Mods, rockers, hipsters, soulies, skinheads, garage-freaks, swirly-folk, and all-round GOLDEN AGE music fans are all here. With plenty going on there is something for everyone, so get involved and hear some of the best music of yesterday and watch some of the best bands of tomorrow!
