    In 2006 and 2008, the Dallas Songwriters Association held a unique songwriting contest called Songs From The Soul Of Service. The contest received over 500 song submissions from active duty military personnel stationed all over the world. On May 23rd, 2009, we will celebrate 2008's winning songs and songwriters and memorialize our fallen service members from the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
