Bio:

Hello folks. For those of you who don't know me, I am a session bassist living in London.

My solo album Mandala was released August 2010. It uses live looping to create soundscapes as a basis for improvisation. You can download the album via my official website here, and preview some of the tracks here in the media player above.

Most of you probably know me as the bassist with The Divine Comedy, Duke Special and Clare Teal, I also tour regularly with Maggie Reilly, Lea DeLaria and The Duckworth Lewis Method. As a jazz bassist I play regularly with Kate Eden, Ian Shaw, Symeon Cosburn, Nina Ferro and Esther Bennett. I've also done bits and bobs with Chris Difford, Nick Cave & Warren Ellis, A Girl Called Eddy, Carleen Anderson, Jonathan Jeremiah, Beth Rowley, Ben Folds, Norma Winstone, Claire Martin, Boo Hewerdine, Ryan Edwards, Alan Barnes, Polly Gibbons, Sarah Moule, Julie McKee and The Ronnie Scott's Allstars amongst many others (So sorry if I've left you out here!).

I play Electric, Upright and fretless basses. I currently use Warwick basses and amps, and Elites strings. And if you ask me very nicely, I might play the musical saw for you....
