    Sarcophagus was formed in the autumn of 2004 in Magnitogorsk city, defining its musical direction as death metal. The first rehearsal took place on the 18th of September in 2004... Line-up:.. Borisova Janna - vocals, bass guitar;.. Zaletova Ekaterina - guitars;.. Koptseva Tatiana - drums.. Previous members: Khisametdinov Dmitry - drums (2004 to 2006).. The first show took place on the 13th of May in 2005 in Magnitogorsk followed by numerous shows at different festivals in the native city... In March of 2006 the band recorded their first demo called "Reflection", which included 4 songs by Sarcophagus and 2 cover songs, as well as a live video of the band... On the 4th of June in 2006, the band played at "Zheleznyj farsh VII" festival in Ufa (a city in Russia), where it was representing the Chelyabinsk region. Saratov-based (a city in Russia) brutal death metal band "Fetal Decay" were playing there too... During the summer of 2006 the band had countless tours in the other cities of Russia, including several open-air shows... On the 10th of September in 2006 Sarcophagus opened for the Swedish death metal band "Dismember" in Chelyabinsk city. A drummer from ufa, Dmitry Gumirov helped Sarcophagus during this gig: he had manage to learn the material in several days and skillfully showed himself at the concert. From this time on, he became a permanent member of the band. Music became heavier and more powerful with his coming, as well as the tempo has significantly increased... Shortly afterwards, the band played shows at various festivals in Magnitogorsk and its surrounding cities. On the 3rd of February the band played with Spaniards from Cerebral Effusion. On the 24th and 25th of May in 2007 Sarcophagus played 2 shows in Perm' and Tyumen' cities with the Ukrainian brutal death metal band "Mental Demise"... On the 7th of August in 2007 the band played at the Metal Heads Mission festival (Ukraine), where they were lucky enough to share the stage with such monsters of metal as Suffocation, Vader, Immolation, Benediction, Cenotaph, Eternal Bleeding, Vomigod, and many others... Currently the band is preparing to record a new studio album. The members are busy with creating new material as hey are actively rehearsing and playing shows. Like never before the musicians are full of fresh power and creative ideas. .. ...... Free ..Horror layouts at SatanSpace.com....
