Chris Basile, Guy Marchais, Darryl Wagner, Mike Andrejko, and Rob Shimonski met to form the New York Death Metal band 'PYREXIA'. Coming from similar backgrounds and driven by a drug-like passion for music, PYREXIA began to imprint its own firebrand style of Death Metal at local shows and helped forge the underground scene. .. .. For two decades PYREXIA continues to storm the extreme metal scene and take no prisoners. Having released multiple albums since forming, PYREXIA continues to this day spreading its unique and brutal sound. .. .. .. .. .. In 2008, the band spent time building a recording studio and releasing a book on Pro Tools and audio production and are currently writing and recording a new full length titled 'The UnCreation' for 2010.
