A BIG AND HEAVY "HELLO" AND "WELCOME"!!!

POWERSTORM is a Metal band formed in southern Greece back in 1995 by guitarist/singer/composer/lyricist Kostas Falieros and some of his dearest friends. The purpose was simple: To express feelings and thoughts, through the "Heavy Metal Way"! From 1995 to 2002 the band recorded 2 demo CD's. The first one was titled: "The Coming" and the second one "Promo 2000". Each one contained 5 songs composed by Kostas. The band also played lots of gigs in smaller or bigger crowds mostly in local places. They also shared the stage with well known Greek bands like "SPITFIRE","ROTTING CHRIST" and "EPIDEMIC" In 2002 the band went to a long "hybernation" period but the flame inside Kostas was still burning. So in late April 2009 he decided to record some of his old songs but in a totally new perspective and also some new songs never recorded or performed live before. 2 years later, the 1st full length album of POWERSTORM is a reality! It's titled "ACT I" and it's released by Kostas as an independent release
