Bio
Centered around Jenny's song writing, jenny's tribe is just trying to make some straight-up rock-n-roll, but they end up creating these crazy rides that draw the listener in like an ocean undertow. You don't know what's happening until you're sitting there listening to every syllable, feeling every thump of the snare or beat of the bass, thinking, did she just say that? .... A living room full of musical instruments in her childhood home taught Jenny a lot of interesting ways to improvise. She's been channeling the spirit Music ever since. When she started writing songs, the goddess Poetry moved in and soon Jenny was producing lyrics that break your heart and make you feel glad all at once. Her bandmates, Dave and Jamie, bring rhythm in unexpected ways and places, filling out these personal tunes with beautiful depth. .. ..* Honorable Mention: Mike Pinder's 2009 Song wars ..* Feature: 2006 NYC Skylark Serices ..* Feature: 10-2005 FeminineGroove Weekly Radio Show ..* Feature: 2005 EvolvingArtist ITV .... SoundCheck Magazine (Boston):.. ...Trippy, soulful hip-hop rock - but with creative twists. I mean, for example, how many bands in the hip-hop genre can successfully incorporate violin into the mix?...The tracks that caught my ears the most were for the words and Jenny's wonderful singing punctuating the rap; 'Radius' - funky rap rock, featuring Jenny's stunning vox; 'On The Bus' - the violin in this one really added an earthiness to this soulful rocker; and 'Reluctant Stowaway' - a slow, groovin' number..... .. -
