..My name is Hawley J. Gary III, most people know me as Joe. I am currently involved with a few projects, one of which is the Acadiana School of the Arts, http://www.myspace.com/acadianaschoolofthearts. Myself and my business partner, Scott Feehan, started this school several years ago, and it continues to grow each year. We teach drumset, keyboard, bass guitar, guitar, voice, even cartoon art, group classes as well as private lessons throughout the year. At the end of each semester we have our group and individual recitals. During the summer we offer various music camps, from our main ASA Music Camp to our minni camps that include studio recording to metal rock. .. ..I also play drums with Spank the Monkey, http://www.myspace.com/heathransonnet. It's been a year since we've been back together, and things have never been better. These guys are like brothers to me. I also play with Black Bayou Construktion, http://www.myspace.com/blackbayouconstruktion, Shimmur, East Bayou Church and Crossroads Church. I've also been a part of the Andy Smith Band, Wayne Toups & Richard LeBouf. I marched with the Phantom Regiment Drum & Bugle Corps from '83-85, and instructed in '87. In '88 I moved to Los Angeles, went to MIT, played with various artists and did studio work-moved back to Louisiana in '92.
