EVOKED, from Appleton, Wisconsin, brings a new and melodic yet heavy and deep sound to the metal scene. Originally formed in 2002, the band released their debut album "Inside" in 2004 and was voted one of the best local bands of the year by Green Bay metal radio station Razor 94.7 FM. After various line up changes the current line up finalized in 2010, when bassist Cliff Duda, drummer Jaime Varela and lead guitarist Dan Finnegan joined founding member, Jason Schumacher (lead vocals and rhythm guitar). Evoked has been playing shows throughout the midwest gaining new fans and climbing the ladder back to the top of the local and regional music scenes - evidenced in 2007 when the band locked a spot on the top ten bands of the year list on Green Bay's local metal station Razor 94.7. In 2008 Evoked released "Sign of The Seventh Seal Chapter One: The New Sessions". This release features the new signature Evoked sound and a breed of vocals that is powerful and pure. In 2010 the band released their newest EP titled "Chapter Two How Will You Choose?" which was co-produced and engineered by Kanky Lora from Straight Line Stitch. Lora has worked with numerous great musicians such as Marc Rizzo (Soulfly) and Max Cavalera (Cavalera Conspiracy, Soulfy, Sepultura). In the beginning of 2010 Evoked also joined forces with The Inner Light Agency artist management and development firm. Evoked has shared the stage with many national acts such as Dope, Soil, Taproot, Straight Line Stitch, Diecast, Anew Revolution and Ill Niño to name a few. 2011 finds Evoked promoting their new release and spreading their music to all metal audiences all over the country.
