  • Bio

Hailing from the New Paltz area of New York State's Hudson Valley, The Big Heavy is a cover band not to be taken lightly. After eight years of playing locally and five tours of the U.S. Virgin Islands, the band continues to entertain loyal and new fans with their musical melange of funk, R&B, rock, power-pop, reggae, blues, and bluegrass - they keep the people dancing and partying through the night! The band consists of six members, with musical backgrounds as diverse as the band's repertoire of songs. The band instrumentation consists of bass, guitar, mandolin, keyboards, percussion and drums. Although the band is a six-piece, members are available for acoustic duo and jazz trio performances. Collectively, the band members have performed in various venues throughout New York State, including New York City, Albany, and Plattsburgh. We are also available for private parties, weddings, etc. Please email us for more info. For Bookings Contact: mikeychipak@hotmail.com .. .. ..MyGen.. ..Profile Generator.. ...
