My Skateboarding Style and Strengths: i am is a technical skater, exact and precise. i also loves to take on big gaps and huge sets of stairs (in an interview with ESPN in 2005, i talked about heelflipping and frontside flipping down a 17 stair). i has become a bit of a skateboard "legend", having skated so well for so long. my Favorite / Signature Skateboarding Tricks: At X Games 11,i said i likes to, "go out and skate with my friends on stuff that's really not all that dangerous, and filming tricks on things that I just want to go out and get, something I can go home and watch." My Skateboarding Career Highlights: 1995 - Joined Birdhouse and turned pro 1997 - Won 5th at X Games in Skateboard Park 1998 - First place in Skateboard Street at SPOT, Tampa Bay, Florida 2001 - Started BAKER Skateboards 2002 - Took second in Skateboard Street at the Tampa Pro in Tampa Bay, Florida 2004 - Won Silver Medal at X Games in Skateboard Park My Personal History: grew up in Lakeland, Florida. i was 9 years old when i started skateboarding, and my parents put a lot of effort into getting me to skateboarding competitions, and i did very well. At age 18, i visited Huntington Beach, California and descided to stay. i took a large break from competing, from the late 90s to 2004, so i could devore more time to my passion for fimling. i am now married and lives in Hollywood. My Interesting Fact: When i was 9 years old, i went from having never skated before to winning my first compettition!!!my Quote: i has never been a big fan of skateboarding competitions. i views them "More just like a test for yourself. It's not really all that much fun, I'd say. Well, it's always fun skating, but it's just like, 'I wonder how I can do?'."
