Dar Stellabotta is a musician from southern Maryland. Dar has shared the stage with bands such as Blues Traveler, Rusted Root, Culture, The Avett Brothers and Ratdog. Mnhoti (pronounced "minotee") A Tale of Time Begins, was her first professional printed album and is acoustic. To her for this album, acoustic music symbolizes the beginning of time when there was no electricity and no distortion. The CD was produced with Dar Stellabotta and co- produced with Pamela Parker, who also sings back up vocal on "Your Thing" and "Grasshopper Song." This album is available on CD Baby and I-tunes. Dar's music is a reflection of her life. She is influenced by everything from The Grateful Dead to Snoop Dogg and everything in between. Also there is a great deal of punk rock influence in her music. When you are a lover of both playing and listening to music, you often come across the ultimate question: would you rather be playing on stage or dancing in the crowd? Both decisions require sacrifice, but one seems the easier route. -

I am living in Oaxaca Mexico doing a masters program in Elementary Education. I love it here! Was in San Francisco for the last three years and thinking about going back when this program is over to teach for a while. Been working on my art and putting up shows in the bay area for the last three years, it's been a blast. You should come visit.. I'm pretty sure we could find you a few gigs! Keep in touch..
