The band was formed on 10th April 2008 at 8 P.M. in Budapest. The members have come from different bands like „Mood Reflect” (Steve), „Symphonium” (Devil), „Rival”,”Trans Express” (Guzu), „Dreamway”,”City of Moon”,”Reason” (Gabi),” Judas Beast „, „EGO Project”(Carlos), and ”Twister” (Gery). Last, but not least, one member –„Crossholder” Zoli- has come from the movie industry („Eragon”, „Underworld”, „The Cathedral”). Crossholder are a classic Heavy Metal band, whose work is based on a conceptual project. An old project of Guzu’s was gathering dust in his brain and on an age-old home tape from year 1992.He had presented his ideas to the others. Everyone without exception accepted these ideas along with the band name „Crossholder”. The project: This project is a whole plan which consists of a novel and a musical visual production. By the end of 2008 Guzu finished his 292 page novel, called „Crossholder – In Captivity of Time”. Each chapter of the novel (13) begins with the lyrics of a song, and is followed by a concrete chapter. An illustration belongs to each chapter. At gigs the songs are performed in a way that those who listen to the songs from the beginning till the end can hear and see a related story about Crossholder, who comes to the Middle Ages from the future and establishes the Knights Templar Order. Only those who come to a „Crossholder” gig can really understand the story! The guys have already recorded their debut album which is going to be masterized in New York. It will be available in Hungary from 17 of December 2010. An interesting moment of the album is that there are no pauses between the songs, only sound effects and battle noises. Naturally an English version of Crossholder songs is going to be recorded soon as possible, as there are quite a lot of people from abroad who are interested in this unique project. At the moment „Crossholder” are getting ready for their tour in Thailand. It will begin in March 2011 and last for about a month. The tour will be recorded by Rock TV, and a road movie will be made of it. The english version of songs will be sung by Zoltan Kiss (Nemesis) and Istvan "Nahi" Nachladal (ex Wisdom). On Thailand tour Nahi will go with the band. They looking for international gigs and festivals, don't hesitate to contact them. Rock On!
