Up at 5:30am and off to church in NJ to help set up for IYWCDC Business Conference. I had to leave earlier to get to an audition in PA for a New BET pilot. This is where the favor of God comes in. I get to this audition and I know everybody there. It just so happens that I am in another film ( Between Us, Love) with the people running this audition. How Amazing is God! So the audition went really, really well. So well that we all decided to go out to lunch after the audition.
Hey actors often do you go to an audition and then go out to lunch with everyone there...the writes, directors, producers, all auditionees and actors? Rare huh?! Needless to say we had a blast at lunch.
I got to know some new actors & people whom I look forward to working with in the future;-) We went to this really interesting restaurant in Springfield called Moe's (yes from The Simpsons LOL! Hence,the fam in the background.) Although my awesome Cool Shades got lost in the shuffle...still l had a good time!
Now it was5:30pm time to head to sound check for the Praise 103.9 Breast Cancer Awareness Gospel Concert with Bryon Cage! I was performing with Lonnie Hunter & Structure. So excited to see my Structure family and Lonnie Hunter again. We rocked the stage. The Praise went up and Jesus showed out. Byron Cage truly brought the anointing.We head a great time.
You would think that after such an eventful day I would go home and fall into dreamland.NOPE! Had to head to my first day of work. Night shift! O Boy! Talk about tired. Didn't get in my bed till 7AM.
Off to church at 10:30AM! The life I chose....
And I would change it for the world!
