We as people of this country need to wake up not only the native people but also all of America on this coming of the new world order and on this government if they did many thing to my people they will do it to there own people. If they killed my people man women and children what make you think they will not do the same to other in a American. The government did not care about my people so what make you think they will care about you. They have taken our tax money and give it to there friends and to hell with the American people. It coming people and you need to wake up. I look at all this in a native way, and this is not about color, it not about blacks or whites or red. But about power and greed, We all need to stand up as one people with out hate

Hello every one my name is Billy I am Mohawk and Oglala, I am proud who I am. I follow the old ways and believe in them strongly. I believe in family clan and nation. I believe that with out a family we are nothing, and I also believe that the family is going down hill. There is no more love in the family and also in people. I believe in respect no mater what. Even if I do not like some one I will have respect. Not to have respect is not to be human. But I also believe in honor in which not many people have in today world, people talk about having respect and honor but they do not follow it. I believe strongly in honor and respecting the elders. Even if I do not agree with some thing, I will not loss respect for them. But just because I believe in respect and honor does not say I am a weak, if I have to I will fight for respect and my honor and my family honor. I believe to honor and respect of all women for they are holy to our people, they are the life givers. I do not hate any one and I believe we are all one in the eyes of the creator.

..We are FAMILY-ORIENTED WARRIORS: While the Sioux were known to be great warriors, the family was considered the key unit of Lakota life. Children, called "Wakanisha" (Waka meaning sacredness) were of primary importance to the Lakota family and were therefore the center of attention. The roles of men and women were clearly defined. While the men were expected to provide for and defend the family by hunting and making war, the women were the matriarchs, ruling the family life and the domestic life of the tepee. When a man married a Lakota woman, it was expected that he would move into her home. DEEPLY SPIRITUAL The Lakota were a deeply spiritual people, who communed with the spirit world through music and dance. The Sun Dance was considered one of the most religious ceremonies of the Lakota. This twelve-day summer ritual of self-sacrifice was a testimony to individual courage and endurance in serving the Great Spirit. As a shared experience among men, the Sun Dance also instilled a sense of tribal unity. By dancing and enduring the pain of self-inflicted wounds, each participant reasserted his identity as an Indian warrior. Going on the war path was part of a rite of passage for males. War was the underlying principle of the Lakota people, because through it men gained prestige, and their prestige was reflected in the family honor.
